IT 2019 Fashion Week Convention: Poppy Parker "She's a Real Doll" Style Lab

Well thank goodness I pre-ordered this whole thing.  I won't keep it all...but more than I expected to keep that is for sure.  The whole thing is adorable and the packaging is soooooooo cute.  I love it.

I love these both as well...love the print on the dress and the peachy blonde pigtails similar to Sunny Slickers in style.

Cute but neither are for me.  I will be selling or trading these.

The ash blonde is gorgeous and I love this outfit.  I doubt I will keep the doll but she is stunning. The outfit is definitely staying.

Love this outfit...I have the Positively Plaid version from the Swingin' London Collection. 


Far Out in Styled Wild!

Love both of them.  This dress and earrings look similar to Ready Set Go from the Jet Set Convention.  I adore the cherry cola hair.

Cute but not keeping.  I think this is similar to the tinkerbell dress from Fairytale?

Cute.  Looks like last year's Lemon Frost dress with the geo print from the Holiday poppy from last year.

Using the same print from the recent Girl Talk gift set. Cute.


Kitty Kat Dress!

Love this.  The What's Up Tiger dress in a different colorway. So cute.  This is going to be adorable on Kicky paired with the fur from You Better Werk Tulabelle...and then posed with Tiger.  I love it.

I love it. So so cute. This print is used for the packaging too.

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAL!!!!!!! I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!! And look at those little hair barrettes and the wig pieces like the hair flair Babs. I die.

W Club Exclusive Doll "Mademoiselle Eden" from Nu Face...

Well, surprise it's another twin. People on W Club seemed mostly jazzed.  I was like....hmmm. Not sure. It feels like a whole lot of lazy rehash.  That dress seems like a variation on a dress from Luxe Life Eugenia and the jacket is the same one we got on Karolin at Live from Fashion Week (which (I sold off) The hair color is almost identical to the recent Violaine doll (whom I ADORE).  But I do love the mint dress (it has pocketssss!) and shoes quite a bit.  I am not loving the hairstyle at all and would definitely be removing the Snooki pouf hair . I love fantasy hair...but wish it weren't so similar to Violaine.  I've been wanting a minty haired doll...and maybe this one would be a perfect re-root candidate.  So I am still a little undecided.  Someone also pointed out that her stock number (82120A) could possibly indicate a corresponding Lilith version (82120B?) is coming our way (possibly for Dolly days?). Which sort of panic scares me into ordering her...hmmm.

Paris Doll Convention News

The Paris Doll Convention was this past weekend. Pictures can be seen here courtesy of the fantabulous Gerda! There was a gorgeous Raven hair Ellowyne with cute bangs and a ponytail and smokey eye makeup called Paris Blue limited to 250. The Sybarite event doll for the Saturday evening banquet was a bright red wigged doll with hot pink eye makeup and a gold and pink evening gown called Epocholypse. There was also a Raven version in a black and silver gown limited to 20 available via a special drawing. Both have lovely face paint and the wigs are in a cute haute heidi braid look. The dresses are nice..but i am not a big fan of Superdoll's gowns. I love their unique sportswear looks more. I am the same with Tonner gowns as well. Some lucky ducks walked away with the new Sybarite Fashion Victim dolls. I am very jealous as these look FABULOUS. I so want that mohawk pink wig one.... IT Dolly Days East 59th La Femme Godiva Collection with New Characters!

  Well another gorgeous set of dolls from designer Christ Stoeckel. He and Mark Tinkey are definitely favs at the moment. The clothing here is lovely and highly detailed. We are getting two new characters which seem to be using some older sculpts.  I like them and I don't mind some stylization...but they do seem a touch out of step with the screening on Evelyn which seems more realistic.  I tried for Cora in the lottery and lost out.  I am hoping to jump on the wait list and maybe get lucky though. I am a big Mugler fan and this fashion on Cora is definitely a reference to a Mugler look as well as to Jerry Hall's locks (also a Mugler model). I missed out on preordering the rest of the ladies from the dealers.  I would really like to get Evelyn's outfit at some point.  I will be patient.
