Cruella. LOVE HER. So glad I ordered this set even though it is super pricey.  I likely won't keep the gown though. Too much cleavage for me. I'm a puritan like that.  I have made a ton of clothes for her already so I am really glad that I love her. This will be my first Tatyana sculpt. WEEEEEE. AND she comes in a very cool trunk which includes the nice sketch. This was a killer giftset.

Pocahontas. YAAASSSSSSS! She is amazing. I love every last bit of this one and hope we get an awesome Lilith as well. This is such a pretty combo with the hair color, style, skin tone, and the fashion. Just stunning. This seems to be a love it or hate doll for collectors. I don't understand why anyone would not love her. More for us I guess. I think this is going to be one of those dolls that people will stab someone to get.

Rumpelstiltskin. Oh man she is so pretty but I am resisting. I'm trying really hard here to only get what is really speaking to me. The doll is pretty but I am not feeling the outfit. I am still trying to stick to my "One sculpt to rule them all" rule...(which is not working when it comes the twins, Elyse, or Poppy).  I am still mighty fond of She Owns Everything Erin. MUST RESIST THIS ONE. I also don't get the leather jacket. It is a nice shape but oh so bulky and goes with nothing in my collection. The body suit is neat though. The gold lips are fun too.

 SO CUTE. This outfit is beyond adorable. That bag!!! I wish she came with Toto though. I can loan her Funny Face's dog maybe.The doll is so cute. I am not sure if she will stay or not. I will have to see her in person. I am sensing yes...as I don't have a curly hair poppy nor that hair color.

Pretty Rapunzel hair and screening but not loving the outfit.  The cape seems a bit too much. Easy resist. Rumor has it that they wanted to make the hair longer but it was a production issue.

Nope. Totally not into this one. Never been a Tinkerbelle fan but Poppy is the obvious choice for Tink. I do like that these dolls are coming with handbags though and some fun shoes. It looks like she has the high heel feet as well.

Mickey and Mini Mouse. Adorable. Total must have. I don't have any Misaki so these are a fun addition and a really great price for two dolls (and none of the hassle of buying and shipping from Japan). I think these pieces will be cute with the Industry gals as well. Those purses are everything. So cute.


So my current purchase list includes: Misaki Set, Rainbow Connection Poppy, and Changing Winds Eden. I am being so very good. SO so good. I will be good. Must resist. RESIST.

W Club Exclusive Doll "Mademoiselle Eden" from Nu Face...

Well, surprise it's another twin. People on W Club seemed mostly jazzed.  I was like....hmmm. Not sure. It feels like a whole lot of lazy rehash.  That dress seems like a variation on a dress from Luxe Life Eugenia and the jacket is the same one we got on Karolin at Live from Fashion Week (which (I sold off) The hair color is almost identical to the recent Violaine doll (whom I ADORE).  But I do love the mint dress (it has pocketssss!) and shoes quite a bit.  I am not loving the hairstyle at all and would definitely be removing the Snooki pouf hair . I love fantasy hair...but wish it weren't so similar to Violaine.  I've been wanting a minty haired doll...and maybe this one would be a perfect re-root candidate.  So I am still a little undecided.  Someone also pointed out that her stock number (82120A) could possibly indicate a corresponding Lilith version (82120B?) is coming our way (possibly for Dolly days?). Which sort of panic scares me into ordering her...hmmm.

Paris Doll Convention News

The Paris Doll Convention was this past weekend. Pictures can be seen here courtesy of the fantabulous Gerda! There was a gorgeous Raven hair Ellowyne with cute bangs and a ponytail and smokey eye makeup called Paris Blue limited to 250. The Sybarite event doll for the Saturday evening banquet was a bright red wigged doll with hot pink eye makeup and a gold and pink evening gown called Epocholypse. There was also a Raven version in a black and silver gown limited to 20 available via a special drawing. Both have lovely face paint and the wigs are in a cute haute heidi braid look. The dresses are nice..but i am not a big fan of Superdoll's gowns. I love their unique sportswear looks more. I am the same with Tonner gowns as well. Some lucky ducks walked away with the new Sybarite Fashion Victim dolls. I am very jealous as these look FABULOUS. I so want that mohawk pink wig one.... IT Dolly Days East 59th La Femme Godiva Collection with New Characters!

  Well another gorgeous set of dolls from designer Christ Stoeckel. He and Mark Tinkey are definitely favs at the moment. The clothing here is lovely and highly detailed. We are getting two new characters which seem to be using some older sculpts.  I like them and I don't mind some stylization...but they do seem a touch out of step with the screening on Evelyn which seems more realistic.  I tried for Cora in the lottery and lost out.  I am hoping to jump on the wait list and maybe get lucky though. I am a big Mugler fan and this fashion on Cora is definitely a reference to a Mugler look as well as to Jerry Hall's locks (also a Mugler model). I missed out on preordering the rest of the ladies from the dealers.  I would really like to get Evelyn's outfit at some point.  I will be patient.
