The Industry-You Better Werk! Tulabelle is Adorbs and Wants all your Dynamite Girls Stuff...


I really had no intention of collecting the Industry line but I could not resist the cuteness of the You Better Werk! Tulabelle Industry Gift Set from the 2016 Supermodel IT Convention.  There seems to be little to no buzz about this girl. I don't get it.  Many seem turned off by the pink eyeshadow and liner. It does limit what she can wear. However, there is so much that she can wear...AND WELL. The body is way tinier than the Fashion Royalty gals.  She is much closer to the Dynamite Girls and Poppy in size with a teeny little foot like Barbie and the Dynamite Girls.  I am excited about this because I have some Dynamite Girls Style Lab  fashions and shoes from the Jet Set convention ...many of which are pink and black.  I think they will mix nicely with this gift set.  I also picked up some old fashions from the London Calling line for $20 total during room sales on a hunch that they would fit and they seemed in a great color palette to coordinate with the gift set.



Everyone of these pieces fit perfectly on her. I am highly tempted to hunt down some more DG fashions for her.  It is nice that all of those shoes will not go to waste either.  FYI...this is the same body as the new I Heart My Little Pony line and those clothes would be equally cute on those girls as well.

W Club Exclusive Doll "Mademoiselle Eden" from Nu Face...

Well, surprise it's another twin. People on W Club seemed mostly jazzed.  I was like....hmmm. Not sure. It feels like a whole lot of lazy rehash.  That dress seems like a variation on a dress from Luxe Life Eugenia and the jacket is the same one we got on Karolin at Live from Fashion Week (which (I sold off) The hair color is almost identical to the recent Violaine doll (whom I ADORE).  But I do love the mint dress (it has pocketssss!) and shoes quite a bit.  I am not loving the hairstyle at all and would definitely be removing the Snooki pouf hair . I love fantasy hair...but wish it weren't so similar to Violaine.  I've been wanting a minty haired doll...and maybe this one would be a perfect re-root candidate.  So I am still a little undecided.  Someone also pointed out that her stock number (82120A) could possibly indicate a corresponding Lilith version (82120B?) is coming our way (possibly for Dolly days?). Which sort of panic scares me into ordering her...hmmm.

Paris Doll Convention News

The Paris Doll Convention was this past weekend. Pictures can be seen here courtesy of the fantabulous Gerda! There was a gorgeous Raven hair Ellowyne with cute bangs and a ponytail and smokey eye makeup called Paris Blue limited to 250. The Sybarite event doll for the Saturday evening banquet was a bright red wigged doll with hot pink eye makeup and a gold and pink evening gown called Epocholypse. There was also a Raven version in a black and silver gown limited to 20 available via a special drawing. Both have lovely face paint and the wigs are in a cute haute heidi braid look. The dresses are nice..but i am not a big fan of Superdoll's gowns. I love their unique sportswear looks more. I am the same with Tonner gowns as well. Some lucky ducks walked away with the new Sybarite Fashion Victim dolls. I am very jealous as these look FABULOUS. I so want that mohawk pink wig one.... IT Dolly Days East 59th La Femme Godiva Collection with New Characters!

  Well another gorgeous set of dolls from designer Christ Stoeckel. He and Mark Tinkey are definitely favs at the moment. The clothing here is lovely and highly detailed. We are getting two new characters which seem to be using some older sculpts.  I like them and I don't mind some stylization...but they do seem a touch out of step with the screening on Evelyn which seems more realistic.  I tried for Cora in the lottery and lost out.  I am hoping to jump on the wait list and maybe get lucky though. I am a big Mugler fan and this fashion on Cora is definitely a reference to a Mugler look as well as to Jerry Hall's locks (also a Mugler model). I missed out on preordering the rest of the ladies from the dealers.  I would really like to get Evelyn's outfit at some point.  I will be patient.
