DC Bombshells Sewing Patterns!
Just got back from a quick run to ye olde Jo of Ann...and found three new costume patterns for Bombshell Wonder Woman, Supergirl, and Batgirl! They are adorable...and patterns were on sale for $1.99...so they jumped into my basket. I might actually make Wonder Woman's blouse as I would totally wear that.
They also had a pattern for old school Joker and from the Marvel side of the nerd-verse...a cool Deadpool costume pattern!
Integrity just wowed Jem fans with one last request...a final farewell Jem and Glitter & Gold Shana and Aja dolls. This was totally unexpected and a really amazing gift for club members. Again, Jem fans that did not join this year must be really crying because these dolls are exclusive to club members only. We only have the cartoon art to go by and we won't see the dolls until the fall. I bought two of each of the holograms and only one of Jem. I have multiple memberships so I went ahead and speculated that I would at least be able to sell the extra set for what I paid and help a non-club member out. I might make a custom outfit to add with the set or something. I am hoping that Aja and Shana have better hair than the first versions or a variation in makeup style. I plan to do an up-do with one of them.
I could care less about the Glitter and Gold fashions. They were never my favorite and I rarely display the Jem dolls in "on stage" mode. I might sell them off.…
The story centers around a trip the the French Riviera for a European Fashion Conference. The fashions seem inspired from several sources. I see some Dolce & Gabbana, Caroline Herrera, maybe Chanel? As soon as she heard about the big annual ETSA conference that was about to take place in the South of France, Eugenia grabbed her cousin Vanessa and immediately insisted that they make the trip with Adèle Makéda. Who better than those two to keep things smooth and make sure that no one from a competing firm could show up to rain on their parade? No matter what, all reasons are good to visit the Riviera!

Vintage glamour returns. Many of us were missing Victoire, myself included...and I am losing any hope that Katy Keene will come back. This new vintage line designed by Chris Stoeckel is very welcome. The four doll collection has a wonderful backstory around the fashion and marketing world in the Mad Men era 1950s New York. The initial descriptions tell us that Victoire Roux will be joining this line later on. Victoire's story was in the forties so I am assuming we will get a slightly more mature Victoire. I imagine they will need to do a new sculpt for her to make her work with these wonderful new faces for these ladies. Victoire currently is more stylized...but perhaps with a less stylized facial screening the current mold could work? We shall see. It is all very exciting. It also sounds like there will be a vintage homme coming eventually as well. Yummy. This era makes diversity a challenge but I really hope they add a character of color in this line too...maybe a Broadway act…
