JamieShow Exclusive Sasha and New Male Dolls

Jamieshow has several new dolls coming up for order. Lee, the Asian Male doll, and Alejandro, the Latin male doll, will be up for order this weekend.  Currently up for order, is the super cool Sasha resin fashion ball jointed doll with a rooted cap!  It also has a regular resin cap so that you can switch her to wigs.  It's a very neat idea. Plus she has groovy shoes.

Pushing the Boundaries of what a fashion doll can be.  Sasha "HOMAGE" is an tribute to Alexander McQueen. She is a Sasha mold and has an interchangeable head cap, one with Rooted Hair and one for Wigs.  She wears a Silver Lame, Swarovski Crystal encrusted Short Dress with Matching Tights and Armadillo McQueen trademark Boots.  Her face paint is powder blue with matching lips, nails and pedicure. She is an IDEX 2011 Exclusive Doll, and a limited edition of only 30 pcs.  Made of the same fine JAMIEshow Resin, with a full articulated (19 points) strung body, she is the first BJD to come with
ROOTED HAIR!  Sasha comes with a rooted head cap, so you can style, come and design her hair, or you can change her rooted head cap to a smooth cap so she can wear any of our fabulous JAMIEshow wigs.  Doll also includes stand.

W Club Exclusive Doll "Mademoiselle Eden" from Nu Face...

Well, surprise it's another twin. People on W Club seemed mostly jazzed.  I was like....hmmm. Not sure. It feels like a whole lot of lazy rehash.  That dress seems like a variation on a dress from Luxe Life Eugenia and the jacket is the same one we got on Karolin at Live from Fashion Week (which (I sold off) The hair color is almost identical to the recent Violaine doll (whom I ADORE).  But I do love the mint dress (it has pocketssss!) and shoes quite a bit.  I am not loving the hairstyle at all and would definitely be removing the Snooki pouf hair . I love fantasy hair...but wish it weren't so similar to Violaine.  I've been wanting a minty haired doll...and maybe this one would be a perfect re-root candidate.  So I am still a little undecided.  Someone also pointed out that her stock number (82120A) could possibly indicate a corresponding Lilith version (82120B?) is coming our way (possibly for Dolly days?). Which sort of panic scares me into ordering her...hmmm.

Paris Doll Convention News

The Paris Doll Convention was this past weekend. Pictures can be seen here courtesy of the fantabulous Gerda! There was a gorgeous Raven hair Ellowyne with cute bangs and a ponytail and smokey eye makeup called Paris Blue limited to 250. The Sybarite event doll for the Saturday evening banquet was a bright red wigged doll with hot pink eye makeup and a gold and pink evening gown called Epocholypse. There was also a Raven version in a black and silver gown limited to 20 available via a special drawing. Both have lovely face paint and the wigs are in a cute haute heidi braid look. The dresses are nice..but i am not a big fan of Superdoll's gowns. I love their unique sportswear looks more. I am the same with Tonner gowns as well. Some lucky ducks walked away with the new Sybarite Fashion Victim dolls. I am very jealous as these look FABULOUS. I so want that mohawk pink wig one.... IT Dolly Days East 59th La Femme Godiva Collection with New Characters!

  Well another gorgeous set of dolls from designer Christ Stoeckel. He and Mark Tinkey are definitely favs at the moment. The clothing here is lovely and highly detailed. We are getting two new characters which seem to be using some older sculpts.  I like them and I don't mind some stylization...but they do seem a touch out of step with the screening on Evelyn which seems more realistic.  I tried for Cora in the lottery and lost out.  I am hoping to jump on the wait list and maybe get lucky though. I am a big Mugler fan and this fashion on Cora is definitely a reference to a Mugler look as well as to Jerry Hall's locks (also a Mugler model). I missed out on preordering the rest of the ladies from the dealers.  I would really like to get Evelyn's outfit at some point.  I will be patient.
