There are only a few spots left for the Tyler Anniversary event on November 7th at the Wiltwyck Country Club in Kingston, NY.
Friday night reception added...
In addition to the event on Saturday, November 7th, help us celebrate Tyler's 10th anniversary in style with a dessert reception at the Tonner Company Store, Friday, November 6th from 7-9 PM. This exclusive "after-hours" event is limited to Tyler event registrants and free to attend, but you must RSVP to Nancy Shomo by 10/30 either via e-mail to convention@tonnerdoll.com or call 845-339-9537 extension 107. No tickets will be sent for this - just show your Tyler event ticket at the door.
Benefit Auction of Never Produced Prototypes...
Special Notice: Six never produced prototype dolls will be auctioned at the Tyler event. The proceeds of those auctions will benefit our own Carol Dwyer who is currently undergoing treatment for cancer. We will be accepting phone bids from absentee bidders during this auction. Also, at the event, will be a raffle and judging for the special Tyler Anniversary competition. Everyone that enters the competition will be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift certificate to the Tonner Company Store. The winner of the certificate will be announced at the event.
Signing and Open House...
Robert will be available for signing at an open house immediately following the Tyler event at the Tonner Company Store, 14 Hurley Avenue, Kingston, NY from 2:30PM to 5:00 PM.

Announcing a very special invitation to participate in a competition specially designed for everyone attending the 10th Anniversary Tyler Event on November 7, whether you are a connoisseur of doll fashion, or a professional or amateur designer of doll fashion.

For purposes of assisting with logistics, we encourage you on a preliminary basis to let Meg know if you plan to participate as a connoisseur, an amateur, or a professional. Advance notice is not binding, nor will you precluded from bringing an entry with you on November 7 if you have not pre-registered.
A Special 10th Anniversary Competition
for all attendees of the Tonner Tyler Wentworth Anniversary Event at the Wiltwyck Country Club in Kingston, NY, on November 7, 2009
On the occasion of the Tonner Doll Company’s Celebration of Tyler Wentworth’s 10th Anniversary Matt O’Neill invites you to celebrate his bride’s professional achievements.
Matt’s Special Request and Theme for the Competition
Bring your favorite Tyler from your personal collection dressed for an evening among friends, with dancing. Your Tyler should be dressed as if to be escorted by Matt to the Central Park Boathouse on a fall “Indian Summer” evening, with music provided by the Eric Felten Jazz Orchestra from Washington, D.C.
Repaints, factory paints, original and restyled hair are welcome, but will be judged solely based on the suitability for the evening attire chosen. Entrants will be separated in three divisions for judging:
* Professional (attendees who design and sew and have sold more than 5 items)
* Amateur (attendees who design and sew for pleasure, and have sold less than 5)
* Connoisseur (attendees who do not design or sew but appreciate showing the work of others (factory, LE or OOAKS), or mixing and matching.
