2012 Tonner Con Day 3: Wonder Woman, Birds, and Raffle!

Image
My first event of the day was Amazonia.  I made a whole outfit for it...photos to come later.  The centerpiece was a killer 22" American Model.  I bought her.  She is fabulous.  The event doll was the same outfit on the 16" heroic body.  Both dolls came with two sets of hands.  I was also pleased to know that the Nu Mood hands do work on the Heroic body.  I think I will be getting another 16 Wonder Woman tomorrow to use for a Modern Wonder Woman.  This is a new sculpt as well called "Diana".  I do love the old one so very much...but this new one is nice too.  She looks a lot like Linda Carter actually.  I was slightly bummed that they did the same outfit on both dolls....but they are cool.  Now to get the other Wonder Woman American Model.  Must save pennies. Flights of Fancy Dinner....lots of over the top and colorful bird themed dolls on antoinette bodies.  Daphne/Toucan, Antoinette/Cardinal and Par...

Tonner Fall/Holiday 2010 Collection

This is old news ..but I have barely looked at it yet... For Firefly ...Jayne looks good and I cannot wait to see Zoe...I am just so pleased to be getting more of these. Lord of the Rings - Galadriel is STUNNING.  I will hold me opinions for Legolas until i see him in person.  the outfits look great though. Cami & Jon   I completely adore Andy Mills with his hipster glasses, skinny leg suit, and emo hair.  I want him. DC Stars   The girls in 13" format are cute..but I just can't do yet another size especially when it's not even a different Supergirl outfit! Deanna Denton   the new one is GORGEOUS.  I am tempted to get her just because her hair is the same color as mine and almost exactly how I wore mine for the wedding...and I could make her into a swell mini-me. Antoinette   I like the giant statement jewelery and obvious couture influences but these dolls just aren't for me.  I need to keep a focus on this crazy habit of min...

Another Evil Sale at Cherished Friends!

Ugh...I want but I cannot have.

Sinister Circus Madame Myst Tonner Direct Exclusive

I nearly missed this bit...the fabulous Madame Myst is a TonnerDirect.com exclusive.

Tonner Fashion Zombies Updates

Image
Darn. I love these but they are WAY too expensive. I might have got them at retail if they had the convertible fashion feet as shown in the photos...but as they stand, they are cool but way too much money. I hope I can get them later at a better price. I like that they are the smaller busted dolls though... Death By Fashion T9FTDD05 DRESSED DOLL $209.99 LE500 LANA LANG Sculpt GREY EYES/Skin Tone: Cameo Prototype shown; hair has been heavily styled for concept photos; doll will ship with regular fashion feet as opposed to convertible basic turnout feet as shown in prototype image; body type is the smaller bustline 'Geisha' body. The ghastly undead is swathed in a chartreuse and grey chiffon dress over black multi-patterned mesh tights and lace-up high-heeled shoes. Mesh armbands, gold chain earrings, and intricate chain necklace also included. Death Becomes Her T9FTDD06 DRESSED DOLL $209.99 LE500 MAGNOLIA Sculpt BROWN EYES/Skin Tone: Cameo Prototype shown; hair has been h...

Tonner Fashion Zombies

OMG...we saw these on the back page of Dolls Magazine at the fashion Royalty Convention. Info is supposed to come out today. I love these Fashion Zombies ...very fun.

AHHH! New Tonner Dolls!!!! AHHHH!

Holy crap! Awesomeness has ensued over at Tonner for the Fall 2009 line ! I am dying over those Sinister Circus dolls! But ouch on the prices fro everything. The Hollywood Glamour outfits hardly don't even have purses or jewelery from what I can tell for over $100 for most of them! At least Hollywood Prowl comes with a hat. However, cheers for more outfits and less dressed dolls. Blue Flame (which makes me titter) would be fabulous on Wonder Woman... Onto Ava Gardner... Dinner with Old Blue Eyes seems like a winner to me. Great outfit, nice hair, etc... Monica Merrill is very fun but I am not really into the inset eyes. Taking a Letter is pretty tempting though. The Girl Friday outfit is a MUST HAVE for me though. I think it would be a perfect disguise outfit for one of my superbabes. The Sinister Circus ...FABULOUS! This is totally my jam! Tonner is not dumb I tell you. He knows the comic folks and goth kids will eat this stuff up. It's clear that some of th...

ReImagination Snow Whyte on Sale at FAO

She's marked down from $200 to $119 plus use the code NEWYEARSALE to get an additional 20% off orders over $99...sigh, I wish the wonder woman trunk weren't sold out.

TonnerSpace Newsletter July 2008!

Read the Newsletter Here! First up... Ultimate BJD Betsy . She's adorable. I am not a fan of the little girl dolls...but I adore Tiny Betsy. She is just about the cutest thing ever. I got the Daffy BJD doll from the Spring 2008 Tonner Convention and I just adore her. This basic bjd Betsy will retail at $250 and is supposed to be out in August. The newsletter also has some previews of the upcoming Get Smart Dolls of Anne Hathaway and Steve Carrell . The two costumes they have pictures of for Agent 99 are her silver evening gown and the white trenchcoat and skinny pants. I hope the evening gown doll is wigged like she was in the film. These could be fun dolls. The sculpts look great. I am really excited about the Anne Hathaway doll. She sort of has an Ellowyne vibe about her (but without the ginormous head). They will both be on the normal Tyler and Matt bodies so they will be able to share clothes with the rest of the gang. And the biggest news are some sneak peaks of th...

Snow Whyte is Up at FAO

Here she is! And she is brutally expensive at $200. Ugh. I love these Re-Imagination dolls yet I have not a single one due to the price. The outfits are great and the concept rules...but not for $200. Especially when these aren't even licensed dolls...so its not like there is some overhead being passed onto the consumer. I will admit that there is a ton of detail work in the costumes...but this price ranged was originally only for the super fancy beaded costume dolls. And really, in times like these, do I really need another doll? My only hope is that they will have these at the Tonner Convention in the raffle room and I will get very lucky. Or perhaps FAO will have a sale...sigh. me wants her.

FAO Exclusives- Re-Imagination Snow Whyte & Batman Giftset

Tonner has announced some spring exclusives for FAO ! The first is a Re-Imagination Snow Whyte! Click to see pic! She's very, very pretty. I think that's an Emilie sculpt? But I cannot be sure. I can't wait to see what Lady G at the convention will be like. I hope I will be able to get all of these some day...but sadly lacking the funds at the moment. I just love all of the Re-Imagination Series and think it was a swell idea. And another giftset to tempt you, this time with Bruce in a tux and his Batman costume. Its cool to have a tux for the bigger muscle-y bodies...too bad they did not use an alternate color scheme for the Batman costume. I would have loved a gray and black version. I wonder if he will have a trunk like the Peter Parker Spiderman set?

Re-Imagination Alyce for $99.99

Dollmarket has Alyce on sale for $99! I think its a great price..but once again, I caved on Poison Ivy last week and Sister Dreary must come to my house soon. So I am resisting for the time being. Speaking of Poison Ivy, got her yesterday...and WOW! I love her. What a gorgeous paint job on this doll and the hair is perfect. I love the little outfit too...especially the little silk leaves on the snazzy boots. Batman definitely has the hottest Rogues Gallery of all the superheroes!
