Alyrenee's Copious Spare Time

  The 2023 Club year was a bit of a sloppy drunk.  Let's call her Sheila. Sheila is generally good fun, but occasionally she takes FOREVER, says the wrong thing, over-serves herself, and then spends a lot of time apologizing. Get a hold of yourself, Sheila! Here is a photo showing what I ordered from this year (though it is missing the Wildflower Misaki doll which I did order. This is easily the least amount of stuff I have ordered in a club year. I really liked all of the True Industry line up but was trying to be good. I already have versions that I love of all of those characters and don't want to repeat sculpts with them. I did not have a Jasper or an Auden though and I liked them both enough to enter in the lottery. I got Auden but not Jasper sadly (hoping I will find a takeover later). Well, hello there. I've been here since Wednesday afternoon and I am already dog tired from room sales and running around the hotel.  But enough complaining because dolls are afoot... So I've been up to my eyeballs in it for these last two weeks. My kid started kindergarten and the university is back in session...and life has been a wee bit loopy.  So when the announcement came that we would be getting a reveal of some new dolls, I managed to work it so that it would be hitting my inbox right when my yoga class of death would be finishing and my son would still be in the Y-childcare for another hour...that way I could sit in the Y lobby, look at the pictures and then send frantic emails to my dealer(s).  I even wrote the email ahead of time and save it as a draft, so that all I need to do is copy and paste the names of the dolls into the email. And then the emails came and I was all like.....um.... That's it? But seriously, I get it.  Things are rough in China (and only going to get worse). But this was definitely not the norm.
