Holy crap! Awesomeness has ensued over at Tonner for the Fall 2009 line ! I am dying over those Sinister Circus dolls! But ouch on the prices fro everything. The Hollywood Glamour outfits hardly don't even have purses or jewelery from what I can tell for over $100 for most of them! At least Hollywood Prowl comes with a hat. However, cheers for more outfits and less dressed dolls. Blue Flame (which makes me titter) would be fabulous on Wonder Woman... Onto Ava Gardner... Dinner with Old Blue Eyes seems like a winner to me. Great outfit, nice hair, etc... Monica Merrill is very fun but I am not really into the inset eyes. Taking a Letter is pretty tempting though. The Girl Friday outfit is a MUST HAVE for me though. I think it would be a perfect disguise outfit for one of my superbabes. The Sinister Circus ...FABULOUS! This is totally my jam! I still kind of dig the purple one we'll be getting at Wizard World Chicago...especially when I read that this previews doll will be $229! Ouch. Oh my. I fell off the wagon hard this week. Sunday had me wandering into Knit 1 Chicago and coming away with yarn for a baby sweater, the new Knitscene, and three skeins of black Lamb's Pride worsted on killer sale. I smell felted clogs in my future? Then I went hog wild at Knitpicks.com...and bought enough yarn to make that adorable Hollywood Herringbone sweater from the new Knitscene. Then today I swung round the sidewalk sale at Knitche in Downers Grove, IL. It was a very nice knitting store with a coffee bar even! I came away with two uber-yummy skeins of malabrigo (my kryptonite!) in a colorway that goes perfectly with the watergreen malabrigo I'm using to make the Amelia Earhart hat. I think I will use the yarn to make some mittens to match...either the Bella Mittens or the Saguaro Mittens ... I also got two balls of Louisa Harding Jasmine to make the Forro purse. Ack! The new doll season is upon us already. Where's the money tree??? Tonner has it's fall preview up online with more dolls coming. Lots of new stuff for Wizard of oz with film likenesses this time. The mohawk Viktor Dreary is adorable and the new Sister Dreary is stunning! There is also a new Tonner Ballet line to replace the New York City Ballet dolls. I cannot tell if that is the Emilie sculpt or what?

Designs by Jude has a new pattern for Evangeline Ghastly . It's pretty cute... I can definitely recommend these patterns. The fit is always good and the instructions are clear.

Okay...so I am wasting time at work and thought I would do a little re-con on the Chicago Lara Croft Quest for Avalon Exclusive . We know that Tonner has the license to Tomb Raider:Legend and all the fashions from that game. So I found a great sight that has a visual guide to all the outfits that Lara wears in the game... please check it out! I do suspect that Tonner might have gotten the license to Tomb Raider: Underworld as well though as Avalon is featured more in that game I believe...
