Wilde Imagination Outfit and Basic Sale

Outfits are $39 and Basic Dolls are $69.  I could not resist San Francisco Chill to put on Tulabelle.

Tonner Convention 2014-Friday Wilde Times Luncheon

Image
Wilde Imagination took over for the lunch today with a Hat Parade theme.  The centerpiece dolls are Vintage Confusion Lizette and Ellowyne.  The dress styles are pretty reminiscent of the red Lonely Hearts Ellowyne dress of a few years back. Each are limited to 150. There was also an exclusive Dark Attic Evangeline Ghastly limited to 150. The program featured the hat parade contest, a look at sculpting to production, and Robert covered the use of dolls in advertising. It looks like the souvenir table favor was a cute pair of pink pumps "Soft Step" and cards of the Wilde Imagination lineup.

Wilde Virtual Factory Sale- A Bumpy Ride

After a frustratingly long day of error messages, the virtual sale is finally a go.  There was a collective grumble heard round the doll world when the shopping cart system crashed and much groaning on the internets.  But it seems like these virtual sales are destined to crash when you have that man people hitting a site all at once. I missed out on two things that I wanted:  the Rufus Totally Natural outfit and the creepy franken-rufus which I wanted solely for the outfit and boots...(hopefully I can get those loose from someone).  I was able to get the leopard cardy, the striped cardy, the black frills tank top, and the other rufus totally casual outfit.  I thought the boutique pieces would work nicely for Tulabelle.  The Rufus outfit is a great deal and I love the pieces.  I was tempted by the black parasol but I realized that it does not close.  I can likely get one that actually closes if I wait for hobby lobby to put out the christmas st...

Ice Castles Tulabelle

Image
My black Friday Wilde Imagination purchase of the Cold Comfort Ellowyne outfit arrived yesterday. Overall, it is a bit big on Tulabelle...most notably in the tights. I think i will take those in when i get the chance. The bodysuit is also a little loose but could work for a slouchy look nicely. The puffer jacket is darn cute. Though for some reason...they opted for a non-separating zipper so you have to pull it on. Strange. The tutu skirt is adorable and the earmuffs are giant but cute.  The boots are a touch big, but since they adjust with Velcro and...well..since they are boots, i think they work.  So for the price, this was a decent deal. With a few tweaks it will be perfectly adorable on her.

New 2013 Fall Holiday Collection from Wilde Imagination

Image
I have not been tempted by the Wilde Imagination stuff in awhile...but this new collection is pretty nice.  Several of the dolls are listed as "HIGHLY LIMITED"...not sure what that means.  I really like the San Francisco Chill outfit and the Mist, Green Tea and Me doll is very tempting. Even the Evangeline's are pretty stunning this time around ( Blood Moon Winters ...sigh).  But I must resist.  Fashion Royalty Convention is going to bust my wallet and my Stingers are waiting at Gigi and Sherry's Dolls as we speak...

New Wilde Imagination & End of Edition Specials

In the Ellowyne Collection, we have several new things.  There is one new outfit, Ruffled Up ...which is VERY pink frothy and ruffled, not really my cup of tea. I don't think Soulful Saturday is new...but I had never seen it before.  Evangeline seems to have several new things.  The basic Dreamstate Evangeline is very tempting. And a painted eye  Evangeline ...just wish she wasn't wigged.  I am not a fan of wig dolls.  A couple of Parnilla dolls and a new outfit.  I am still not tempted.    Amelia Thimble has some new Peter Pan themed dolls as well. Tonner 2013 Gossip

Image
Following the West Coast event this weekend, there is quite a bit of new information floating around on the doll boards.  I will break it down for you...of course this is all hearsay at the moment. Tonner will be at Toy Fair this year in early February. Harry Potter -no mas. GWTW -A new scarlett in a red dress. Ellowyne -possibly more furniture in the works -painted eye Pru doll -another feeling drained ellowyne -sixties themed outfits -Relative Find lacey gown -Just Peachy outfit -seems likely that Freddy is coming Patsy -possibly some furniture coming. Oz -Another Glinda and more witches but not based on the new movie.  dang. Sindy -this is the new line based on the vintage doll.  The sculpt has not been completed.  If that is the case, I wonder if we will be seeing her at all at the May Convention? New Licenses -Carmen Dell'Orefice celebrity doll.  Possibly a 1950s version and the 'mature' version.  Either would be pret...

Tonner Convention "Age of Innocence" Registration Open

Here is the scoop: Welcome to the gilt, glamour and intrigue of The Age of Innocence-the Tonner Doll Company 2013 Collector's Convention !  We'll explore times past both real and imaginary and from whimsical childlike innocence to sophisticated elegance.  This magical weekend begins on May 16th and will be filled with honest-to-goodness merriment--and you just may have the time of your life! Robert Tonner and staff have packed this whirlwind weekend full of delightful fun.  We'll visit candy land and Dr. Seuss; we'll time travel to the Gatsby-esque elegance of the 1920's and the swinging sixties and meet in the grand ballroom for the enchanting Carousel Ball.  And that's not all!  Back by popular demand, a Dessert party where we can dance the night away!  And let's not forget the Wilde side of things, where the absence of innocence prevails!  This year's Wilde Imagination event is included with your Tonner Convention registration, and th...

Tonner Convention 2012 Day One & Two

Tired!  So tired! Anyway, we are halfway through the fun.  Thursday Night featured some pretty adorable flight attendants dolls, Shelly, Kay, and Captain Paul which featured the supergirl sculpt, a new sculpt (Kay), and what will be the new Matt sculpt.  I was tempted...but must save all pennies for Wonder Woman tomorrow.  The souvenir was a basic "Judy" doll using the Glinda sculpt on the new Starlet body (which I guess is tyler on top and hippier on the bottom...).  Our volunteer thank you gift was a supercool Nu Mood doll that I think is the Kit sculpt?  I was excited since I have not been able to nab one of these yet.  I was able to get the hands and feet from Gigi's Dolls in the vendor salesroom. The Tonner Salesroom had some good steals as always.  I tried to be good, but could not resist two Cami and Jon outfits that were absurdly cheap (Sag Harbor and Play on Words) as well as a City Sleek outfit for my Mom's Miss Revlon doll for...

New Ellowyne Stuff...ugh I want all of it...

They are killing me over there at Wilde Imagination.  I want a bunch of this but with the convention fast approaching and all of my integrity pre-orders coming any moment...well I better hope I can sell stuff at that convention to fund this habit. I love that Totally Natural Rufus outfit. Off the Grid is also great. There is a deal at the moment though: Happy Spring! Take $20 OFF Any Order of $100 or More from Wilde Imagination! It's our biggest sale ever so don't miss out...  Just use Promo Code SMILE16 at checkout to receive the Savings! And don't forget to check out our NEW Ellowyne dressed doll ~ Plaid to Meet You  and her NEW outfit ~ Dare to Dream? Don't wait ~ this promotion ends at midnight, EST, on April 25th

Imperium Park Debuts!

Image
Oh my.   Use the code PARK to get free shipping until March 19th, 2012.  Thea is on an Ellowyne body and Phin is on a Matt body...so lots of clothes sharing potential!  This stuff is pricey...but super detailed with a ton of accessory business.  I totally love all of it and I definitely like the sculpts.  Clockwork Hypothesis is killer.  A lot of this would make for great Firefly fashion as well.  Phin could make a great Simon actually.
