I just returned from NYC seeing plays for my day job (occasionally theatre can be glamorous...mostly it is actor armpit sweat and stupid long hours). I spent Wednesday morning shopping for fabric in the garment district and felt excited and overwhelmed by the sparkles and luxury of the stores (mood, pacific trimmings, hai fabrics, and B&J). So much yumminess. As I ate a banana in Bryant Park, I tried to imagine our small town girl turned model out and about in 1960s New York City....it was easy to imagine Poppy in crisp summer dress sipping a coffee in the opposite bistro chair. The order deadline just passed on this...sorry I've been out of town making theatre magic yall.  She is very cool but I managed to resist. I was not loving her screening with that hair. I also worry about that red pleather and staining. I really hope I can get that snake bracelet at some point. So I was lucky enough to snag this girl in a recent W Club Lottery. I love the high waist jeans. I sadly missed out on Misaki Candy Cutie in a price that I could afford. Boo. I am now trying to hunt down an ITBE Zolt or Zing from the 2014 Gloss Convention to reroot in a candy color to stand in her place. I might reroot this Misaki as well in a mint color. We shall see.
