Just realized I completely skipped talking about the Poppy 'lunch' dolls.  I was so not interested in them so I nearly forgot. Both girls are very pretty....but I don't do brides and don't really do lingerie either.  The bride doll itself is really pretty though and Ginger in the strawberry blonde is also cute.  I passed on the Bride doll to another collector at cost.  I traded Ginger's outfit for the Milan poppy fashion (squeeee!) and will likely be trading or selling the doll as well.  As for other news, the Palm Springs Collection obviously did not materialize this year but will hopefully appear in 2022. As a result, there were no new research looks presented for what they next collection would be. However,  there was mention of another big project that David has been planning for some time and something pop star related.  Sort of vague. Many are speculating that we might finally get a trunk for poppy (I MEAN COME ON ALREADY) and/or maybe get a trun...

Dolly Days is here again. Integrity started with a hot mug of holiday cheer with this little Ginger gift set!  I absolutely love it. This will be the first time I have purchased one of the holiday dolls.  Usually they are gowns (which I don't do) so I was so happy to see this set is a casual outfit with an adorable record player and weird/cute dog. I am glad I skipped the first Ginger as I like this one a whole lot more. I am wondering if we will see a Poppy to match her this week? Though I wonder if the capris outfit from Viva Poppy might work well with this. Another surprise is that this doll is not one of our club dolls either. Well finally, we have Ginger.  Fashion Week convention attendees got a brief but promising glimpse of her, but it is wonderful to finally see her in full color.  I am quite pleased with her sculpt. She is really very cute and looks great with the red hair.  I am not loving the fashions though.  I don't do gowns or prom dresses so if I bought this set, then I'd be selling off the fashions.  Great jewels though and I like that little fur wrap. Two dolls for $200 is a really good price though.  However, I suspect many will be trying to unload Poppy (and the fashions) and keep Ginger.  I like the ash blonde on Poppy but I don't know if I need her....so consequently I still don't know if I need the set.  It feels silly to buy something for only one quarter of the whole thing...(this coming from someone who bought a whole doll just for the belt and earrings...so I am an unreliable narrator).
