Alyrenee's Copious Spare Time

Well poop.  I did not get picked for the Montaigne Market Elise lottery.  le sigh.  At least the Jem dolls arrived to distract me.  Then Integrity released picks for the next wave of ITBE girls.  This round of dolls is exclusive to W club members.  I threw my hat in for Janay and Monogram.  The forums were all excited about the AA Vanessa and AA Kyori as well.  Both cool but I had to stick with the two I liked the best. I am a sucker for platinum hair! My Jem and Misfits accessory packs should arriving any day now.  I am hoping I will be able to pick up one more of each jacket for the bands loose or on ebay.  I also anticipate the announcement of another Jem soon.  Integrity dropped hints about a Jem with long curly hair seen in the Raya promo shots.  Speculation abounds as to what she will wear...I am hoping for a flipside fashion set.  The curly hair could mean Rock and Curl Jem...but I am hoping for something more ...

The newest offerings are up and for me, it is a bit of a mixed bag.  Now mostly that is because my particular tastes have either changed or rather, I am forcing my tastes to be my mindful of my lack of space and money.     The price points on this lineup are hard swallow...but we knew that was happening.  Still, it is hard not to think of the work Integrity did with Tullabelle and be a little less than enthused when you see $199 on a doll that does not even have a purse or a necklace.  Le sigh. Here are my picks and complaints.... Classic Elegance Tyler -gorgeous haircolor and style on the original Tyler mold.  The dress has an interesting sweetheart neckline combined with an empire waist and a cascading skirt in what looks like velvet.  She reminded me a bit of Sargeant's Madame X. Enticing Outfit - I like this Antoinette outfit with its nice color and fun mix of textures. Summer Swing  - I bet this one sells out in a jiffy....

I've been making an effort to get my little dolly offerings online.  I am starting with Show & Sel l first.  From there I will move some stuff over to ebay and etsy.

Check it out. Precarious Line The sculpt reminds me a bit of the Chicago/Suzette face...also applies lashes which I have no problem with. Very fashion forward clothes with interesting shapes and lots of details.  Pricey though.  There is no story info for this yet... Intriguing -festive blue hair and kick ass blue suede heal-less shoes. Totally want those shoes. Party Girl - again awesome shoes and fantastic silver tights. Anything Goes - looks like a fabulous outfit for Cat Woman....I love it. Swing Time - very chic.  I love it. Simon Rouge is back on the 13" body which means more fun clothes for those girls coming out.  Also the Suzette sculpt on the 13" body...which looks good!  Maybe we will see Kitty Collier too? Deanna Denton went to weight watchers evidently and she is now on the 16" curvaceous body.  I might have to steal the Red Hot Deanna Outfit for for supergirls.... Cami & Jon have a new dolls and outfits.  Steamfunk C...

Nice special on a cute Cami & Jon outfit over at Cherished Friends ....I have just ordered it.  These clothes usually fit Ellowyne nicely...

Check it out . American Models ! Articulation finally!  I really hope they offer replacement bodies too....and possibly a recycling program for the old bodies.  You know everyone will want to replace them.  The Goth Basic is fun. Antoinette .  I like the silent film star makeup on Luxuries .  Otherwise...too frothy for my taste. DC Stars!!!!   God love them for doing this modern 13" Catwoman !   Though...she should have shorter hair.  Selina usually sports a bob or shorter.  I like the Heroine sculpt though.  It reminds me of Miss Gulch.  Sweet Jesus... 22" Wonder Woman ...sigh...this is a must have for me. She looks gorgeous.  they are killing me with all these sizes.  But Tonner is not dumb...and he knows his Wonder Woman fans (like his Alice and Wonderland fans) are diehards and would buy a potato in a star spangled bikini if he put one out.  (Wonder Spud!)  Raven looks great but I am not a big fan...

I like it .  Pre-order it for $99.  My only beef would be with the length on the jeans.  I am not a fan of the ankle length pants.

I am oh so tempted by the Hitting Midnight Fashion and the Poppy Parker outfits.  Must resist....

Think Gaga.  I like the pistol heel boots myself.  Not all of these will fit Sybs or Tonner girls and evidently none of them will fit Antoinette...they are still pretty darn cool.

Using the Suzette and Stella molds shrunk down to the antoinette scale.  I like the Suzette version in raven hair.  The Stella version looks smooshed and a bit pissy to me.  The retail at $84.99 and some of the proceeds go to the Shriner's Hospital. 

She is tre' cute .  I especially love her hair color. The dress is pretty cute as well.  I am semi-tempted...but wedding broke.

Let me know what you think..I am still looking. The biggest and not unwelcome surprise is that the collection is "made to order"..meaning they want have piles of this stuff going on uber-clearance a year later. That also effectively means I probably cannot get any of it since I rely on the clearances heavily. Cami & Jon Collection Cami looks like a variation on the Cinderella head sculpt to me who I think looks like a bitchy high school cheerleader. No really that tempted. The outfits have a more youthful edgy look but thus far I think i can resist. The images for Jonquil aren't there yet...I keep you updated. Update!
