Another open edition offering, this time we have Poppy Parker. Doing an open edition Poppy is very smart. This will likely pull in the Barbie Silkstone crowd that have been jumping off that sinking (sunk?) ship. One can only assume by the volume of yearly Poppy offerings, that she is Integrity's money maker. So an open edition Poppy would be like printing money. With these open edition dolls, when the allotment on hand sells out, they make more. So if you were unable to get your mitts on one from this first batch, then I encourage you to be patient for the next batch rather than reward the scalpers.
The swimsuit is very cute. I will definitely be on the lookout to pick one up loose. This is not my favorite screening for Poppy. This screening combined with the high heel feet makes her a bit more grown up...which I also think was a play for the Babs crowd. I am a fan of the cream skin tone and was thankful she was not blonde. Had this been a red head or raven..I would have been very tempted.
