Well, I managed to secure a complete style lab from someone so I have the whole lot coming my way...which is great because I love the fashions and at least three of the dolls. ACCESSORY PACKS FOR THE WIN!!!! Anyway...thoughts about the dolls below. I am not feeling the 'mugshots' on the presentation. I get the feeling this was all a little rushed this year. I think these will be better in hand. I was not expecting this many 1.0 sculpts, but I will get into that below. $60 for a nude doll is basically a steal even if you plan to toss the head in the trash...so all in all, this is a great style lab. There was A LOT of whining on the boards about the 1.0 dolls and fashions. I don't understand the hate on the fashions. I do understand that no one really was screaming for Adele and Natalia 1.0 sculpts to come back (especially without updating the screening in a significant way). But they still have their fans I guess.

Alain said this was based on a popular and much requested prototype doll made for a magazine cover in 2003. Fun hair color and dramatic screening, but I am not a Vero fan. Not planning to keep her.

I think the hair actually works for this doll...but I am not sure the eye screening does. I do like the A Tone skin color a lot. But I am not keeping this one either. I already have three Adeles (2.0x2, 3.0x1). I try not to repeat more than that.

I like the face but not sure I love the hair color. I also love the cream skin-tone. I might reroot her in a smokey lavender grey color. Possibly Keeping. I don't have any Kyori dolls yet so there is no rule violation here.

I LOVE HER! This has been the Isha that I have been waiting for. She's gorgeous. Perfection. Her eye is a little squinty in the photo which Alain said was due to a wonky eyelash. I am hoping that won't be the case with mine. But yeah, I think she is lovely. I love that she has a deeper skin tone too as I did not love the fair Isha from the Sacred Lotus collection. She is pretty similar in look to the recent Boudoir Agnes (who I don't have.) KEEPING.

I like this one. I am considering using her in Poppy's world as an older model. I think she'd be great in late 60s early-70s clothing. I like the Hungarian skin tone with this mixed color hair. I wonder if I have a Hungarian poppy or Industry body to stick her on...or maybe they will offer them for dolly days? KEEPING.

Gorgeous. I don't have a Korinne yet and I really like how this one looks with the cream skin and the hair. The coral lips and the brows are amazing. She looks very classic with a bit of vintage starlet glam. I bet she would pair nicely with the Marveillouse Agnes who also had that classic beauty thing happening. Very happy to be KEEPING her.

Once again, they have a build-a-doll. I had guessed it might be an Elyse...but in retrospect the original Vanessa seems like the obvious choice. However, I have yet to love a Vanessa. I don't know what it is about her, but I never seem to keep her. Everyone else will be wanting her so...not a problem. I might use her as a trade for something I want. Not keeping.
So that's three for sure keepers (Isha, Jolie, Korrine) and one maybe with a reroot (Kyori). I have already sold the rest save for Vanessa and Vero at cost minus the build a doll component.
