2019 W Club Registration Open until March 3rd, 2019!
It's club registration time! Which means upgrade dolls! If you haven't been in the W Club before, it is something that I highly recommend IF you regularly collect Integrity Toys. If you aren't an active collector...then I warn you, this club is a gateway drug to having a massive collection in like zero time. The benefits of the club are pretty outstanding IMO. There are club upgrade dolls and club exclusive dolls (made to order so you are guaranteed access to these) and often some additional surprise dolls. They also offer lotteries for convention exclusives and limited items. Additionally, you are the first to know about new lines coming out so that you can possibly get your order in before things sell out AND you get first dibs on convention registration as well. The club forum is fun with great people (and a sprinkly of people you'd like to drop off on a desert island). Luckily there is an "ignore" button made for those people.
So in addition to your base membership price of $50 ($25 of which comes back to you in the form of a club coupon to use for a later purchase), you can choose to add one of each of these upgrade dolls per membership that you purchase. There have been years where I have had multiple memberships in order to get extra dolls and have extra lottery chances. Not sure if I will do that this year. Extra memberships are helpful if you plan to bring a non-club member to convention as well (so that you can bring your guest to the Club only luncheon). I might stick to one signup for now and see if an extra $50 shakes loose before the signup window closes.

Lukas was chosen through a series of votes during the 2018 Club year. I am pleased with the end results. I don't have a Lukas and think this one is pretty nice. I like the funky jacket and that shirt too. Poppy in Hungarian skin-tone and the raven bangs is gorgeous. I might take down that ponytail though and try to recreate the Kicks! doll I sold. I like the print on that dress but might re-do the skirt to be fitted and make a little cape or something with what is leftover. That microphone is amazing and Jem is going to want to steal it. I will try to hunt down a second one. It would be fun for "Rock and Roll Forever Jem" customs. As for Vanessa, not a fan. I don't know what my deal is with Vanessa but she just does not click with me. Every time I think I like one...she gets here and I'm like...meh. I don't like the outfit on this one either so I am not even remotely tempted.
