2017 Integrity W Club Details Revealed

Well, the best laid plans...I had high hopes of being strong and resisting.  But I just caved and ordered them all.  I don't even like most of them. Oye.  Clearly it is some sort of illness.  I can't be trusted.  More thoughts below...

The Basic Info from the W Club:

We have one membership level to cover the entire Club and new this year, we have four "upgrade" options to choose from-- three upgrade dolls and one diorama! The upgrade options include the Riviera Drama Agnes Von Weiss™ Fashion Royalty® upgrade doll (as voted on by 2016 W Club members!), the Popster! Poppy Parker™ upgrade doll, the Majesty Giselle Diefendorf™ NU. Face™ upgrade doll and the new 2017 POPUP! exclusive diorama playset!

So...the club did a new thing and provided a poll for 2016 members to choose one of the upgrade dolls for 2017.  We had the option to decide between skin tones and sculpts (Vanessa 1.0, Jordan, and Queen B Aggie). And then we got another choice on hairstyle and fashion. Sadly, none of my preferences made it to the final round.  Se la vie. While this was a neat idea, we are being asked to blindly throw money at a super vague fashion sketch. My first instinct was...meh. But then I remembered that this Agnes will have the new "EXPLOSIVE" body with no waist joint (which was totally worthless in terms of posing), better knees, and the ability to pop out the lower leg to do flat feet later one. So I thought I would get her for the body for one of my Elyse gals at the very least. Then if Agnes turns out hideous...I can sell the head and fashion. People seem to be excited about Raven Agnes. I've owned two (Helper Raven Agnes & the club giftset one...) and sold them both. I wanted an A-Tone Jordan myself. The "Riviera" theme could be fun. We have not had a resort collection in a while (not since the Tropicalia convention really). I am hoping for color: both in the fashion AND the ladies.

I have high hopes for Swinging London. This one, though cute, does nothing for me. I am hoping for more boho or at least more funky.  Someone will want her though.  It is a pretty hair color and will redress nicely for those who like their Poppy modern. Again, this one will have the new Poppy 1.5 body with remove-able lower leg and feet. So she will likely get body swapped and resold.

LOVE THIS LOOK!!! I am less inspired by the doll herself.  I already have a brunette AKA Gigi so I think this gal will get body swapped and tossed out nekkid to fend for herself on the dolly for sale market. The fashion is very sweet and exactly that bohemian look that I have been craving.  I want to add a dash of color though...maybe a shawl or something? Or long beaded necklace? The accessories are KILLER!  Those shoes!  That purse! That bracelet.  OMG.

So this comes as a bonus gift if you ordered all three upgrade dolls. I thought why not? It could be cool? It is made so that it will safely fit inside of an Ikea Detolf cabinet.  Again, we are being asked to plunk down $49 bucks on a mock up image. That could go sideways in a hurry. Fingers crossed that it comes out cool.  I keep hoping for a nifty Poppy trunk box a la the Jem Backstagers.

There seems to be no promise of Jem Club dolls...only priority purchase window for club members. There are four coming (which may or may not included the 'completer pack' that has been discussed).  The license ends in 2017. It has been a good run. As far as I am concerned, I'm interested in updated Holograms and another Roxy maybe. And one final awesome Jem giftset with Synergy.  That's my dream.
