La Femme Update...

Image
So I am weak. I had initially decided to pass on the Agnes event doll...but then I kept thinking about her swell short hair and the FR White skin tone with the awesome shirt and pretty eyes...and then I went and ordered her. Sigh.  I can always sell the lace skirt. I think the shirt will be a great wardrobe piece. I wonder if it is a bodysuit like some of the other blouses in the Nu Face Heirloom collection? These pieces will also be nice to mix with the Cruella De Ville doll coming from the convention collection.  And that little clutch is too cool. See...this is what I did to talk myself into ordering her. I must be stopped. So then, of course, the evening after the pre-order deadline for Agnes, Integrity lets us know that Bronze Seduisante Elyse will no longer be a lottery doll and that everyone can get her...needless to say, everyone lost their minds with gratitude. I ordered her of course because I do love me some Elyse and I am excited about the flat feet. I am de...

A Final Farewell Bonus from Integrity for Jem Fans

Image
Integrity just wowed Jem fans with one last request...a final farewell Jem and Glitter & Gold Shana and Aja dolls.  This was totally unexpected and a really amazing gift for club members. Again, Jem fans that did not join this year must be really crying because these dolls are exclusive to club members only. We only have the cartoon art to go by and we won't see the dolls until the fall. I bought two of each of the holograms and only one of Jem. I have multiple memberships so I went ahead and speculated that I would at least be able to sell the extra set for what I paid and help a non-club member out.  I might make a custom outfit to add with the set or something.  I am hoping that Aja and Shana have better hair than the first versions or a variation in makeup style.  I plan to do an up-do with one of them. I could care less about the Glitter and Gold fashions. They were never my favorite and I rarely display the Jem dolls in "on stage" mode. I might sell th...

2017 Fashion Royalty Collection: La Femme

Image
The story centers around a trip the the French Riviera for a European Fashion Conference. The fashions seem inspired from several sources. I see some Dolce & Gabbana, Caroline Herrera, maybe Chanel? Item # 91418 Vivacité Eugenia Perrin-Frost™ Dressed Doll La Femme The 2017 Fashion Royalty® Collection Edition Size: 1025 Estimated Delivery: Fall/Winter 2017 Retail Price: $145.00 US Head Sculpt: Eugenia Body: FR 6.0 Foot Sculpt: High-heeled Skin Tone: Hungarian Hair Color: Soft Ebony Eyelashes: Yes, Hand-applied Quickswitch: No Available from IT Dealers As soon as she heard about the big annual ETSA conference that was about to take place in the South of France, Eugenia grabbed her cousin Vanessa and immediately insisted that they make the trip with Adèle Makéda. Who better than those two to keep things smooth and make sure that no one from a competing firm could show up to rain on their parade? No matter what, all reasons are good to visit the Riviera! Eugenia Perri...

2017 Nu Face: Heirloom Collection

Image
IT Designer Jessy Ayala presents a collection based around one key personal vintage object and seems to be inspired/lifted from the Fall 2016 Louis Vuitton collection. Several of the characters finally got last names. We also have the return of the Close-up dolls (but at a shocking price point frankly). Many are likely sold out from dealers already so do not delay if you want to get these. Item # 82084 Charmed Life Imogen Lennox Dressed Doll The Heirloom Collection The 2017 NU. Final Jem Gift Set and W Club Exclusive Studio Playset. Farewell Jem... (or is it really Farewell?)

Image
Well by the time the link for the public goes live tomorrow, these might already be history. Allegedly this is the end of the line. The email, however, hints that there might be more surprises in store. Many collectors are hoping for another issue of Aja, Shana, and Roxy..even if they are nude or baggy dolls. We shall see. I'm sad to see the line end, but frankly I don't have space for the dolls that I already have. I am also really enjoying making the fashions from the show on my own. This final set is pretty nice.  This is not an outfit that I would have tackled on my own and the results from Integrity are pretty wonderful.  The detail is excellent and the swapped sculpts on Jem and Jerrica is a great bonus. Plus, look at Jem's AMAZING shoes! All in all, it is a decent value for the set (two dolls for $175) and with a smaller edition size of 400 pieces, it is likely to sell out.  I am still surprised that we did not get at least a cardboard cutout Synergy console. ...

2017 W Club Doll: Poppy Parker British Invasion!

Image
Super adorable yall.  I like the festive bright red hair and love the bangs. She is going to pair nicely with Kicks! (should I ever get the nerve up to remove her from the box).  Some aren't keen on the non-realistic color. I like it though. She has a Misaki/Susie vibe. The Union Jack mini dress is adorable and I love the coat and Bobby hat. The pillow accessories are great little bonus. There is a five dollar savings to buy the doll with the chair; however, I think I am just going to get the chair from ye olde ebay for basically the same price but with free shipping.  Lord only knows how big that Integrity box will be and how much the shipping will inflate things. Oye. Plus, that let's me order the chair later when I have a little more cash. The Jem gift set is dropping shortly and I am hemorrhaging money at the moment. Don't even get me started on that box and the matching stand! SO CUTE! I will say this though, if we don't get a little London travel map at some ...
