Ohhh more knitting magazines! Oh how I love them. So I recently subscribed to the online version of the Verena Mag . It's a pretty decent deal if you can get over the lack of the magazine in front of you. i do so love my glossy pages but the online version is more eco-friendly and takes up less space. There are some sneak peaks out at the moment on the Verena Blog . Though I am a little confused by it, I kind of love the Kaffe Fasset coat ... Can't wait to see the rest of the issue. It will be online on October 5th and in stores the following week.

Weeee! An outfit for the AvantGuards...I totally order it as soon as I could. Love the shoes and the wig. I cannot wait. I do not understand the whining about the price. Behold my Owls Sweater! I love it. That yarn is a bit itchy though and I am hoping it will become less itchy with some washings and wearings. I love the fit on this sweater though. It was both fun and fast to knit.

Head over to Superfrock to get a gander of one of the three newly sculpted Freedom Sybarites coming out. The exotic girl on the front page is evidently a revised Inque sculpt with festive gold pasties. The second mold is Voltaire, and the third is Ivory. I think I like Voltaire the best. Ivory is interesting but a bit mannish to me. Evidently they are all featured in the newest Haute Doll....which despite my living only an hour or so away from where Haute Doll is published, I always seem to be the last person to get it. Grrrr. Tonner has added James, Laurent, and Victoria to the website and they are also available to order at your local doll stores or online. I have seen these in person and they look great. I think the sculpts on both of the men are fabulous and all the outfits have lots of accurate detailing.

Tonner is selling off some of the older fashions made for the runway shows on ebay to benefit the charity A Friend's House . It's a worthy cause and the fashions are great. Trick is they are made for a model size 4 or so...but they would still be cool to have. The fancy dresses would make great prom gowns for your skinny daughters. They are all currently very affordable and I imagine they could be a tax write-off as well!
